The Butterfly Club This is a club for people that have learned to appreciate themselves, and are willing to help others do the same. It’s a club for artists of all types: photography, poetry, prose, drawing, painting, and so forth. Remember that first impressions are not always right so please consider this club, and don’t consider it something girly or stupid and the like. Okay? So then, moving on...
Joining As I understand, something involving the word ‘Butterfly’ isn’t going to get very many male members, therefore this club is reserved more for girls but men are permitted to join if they wish. To join, simply send a note to ~ thebutterflyclub or ~ravenimage and tell me what you think self appreciation means. If you’re accepted, add ~thebutterflyclub to your journal entries using either: : devthebutterflyclub : or : iconthebutterflyclub : [without the spaces].
Rules Although most everyone is allowed to join, you simply cannot be so depressed as to not have strength to believe in yourself. This club is for those that appreciate who they are, are what they are, and know that no one can change them. If you’re wanting to be helped, we’ll do our best.
Harassing other members is wrong, and if you’re seen doing so you will be removed from the club. Understand? Respect everyone, including people outside the club; love your neighbor, treat them as you want to be treated. Of course, there are times when you’re forced to defend yourself, and fully respect that.
Do not attempt to submit art relating to horror and macabre. Only things representing light, happiness and beauty are allowed in this club, anything other than that is ignored.

I don’t believe we have enough members to start a contest, so go ahead and “advertise” this club to others. Thanks for joining the club everyone.
